Learning Objectives
The course in the three years includes a series of biological materials suitable to obtain a concrete framework of the techniques and methods applied to the morphological analysis of different human body systems. In this sense, after a first cytological framework (first part of the form "Cytoistology and Cytometry"), in order to frame the "sample" for the morphological instrumental analysis, this module addresses issues related to the different tissues of the body to frame her second level of organization. The course has a section devoted to the laboratory of Histology in order to give the students the tools for a careful morphological analysis prepared for light microscopy. The argument is strategic for the correct preparation for automated cell analysis, static and dynamic that will be treated in masterful. The last part of microscopic anatomy, as the third level of the human body's structural organization, gives a simple introduction to the next chapter done in "Human Anatomy", introducing the next level of cellular organization as a framework to organ level.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
The student must show mastery of basic knowledge about the techniques for the for morphological analysis of Histologic and microscopic anatomy preparations analysis.
The student will demonstrate an understanding of the different degrees of human body organization both at the level of tissues and microscopic anatomical organization identifying the strengths of this analysis and the critical issues relating to the sample preparation process.
The student will finally show the possession of the ability to use the concepts and knowledge acquired proving to reason according to the specific logic of the discipline. In the practical part he will have to prove to be able to identify the specimen.

- Assessment
The assessment of profit is aimed at verifying the level of knowledge of the topics covered in the course and the reasoning skills that demonstrate knowing how to connect structure and function in the various biological components of the Body. The level of learning will be assessed during the lectures using a series of multiple choice tests relating to the topics covered in the previous lessons..
The final exam consists of an oral test on the various topics covered (Histology) in the course to verify the level of knowledge achieved by the student in relation to the previously indicated educational objectives. The answers are judged on the basis of the knowledge of the subject, the expository capacity and the language used as correct and appropriate scientific terminology, and are used to evaluate the student's capacity for reasoning and synthesis. Particular attention will be paid to students with Specific Learning Disorders.
The final grade will be the average of the marks obtained in the two modules (Cytology and Microscopy and Histology and Microscopic Anatomy) for a total of 12 CFU. The grade of the Cytology and Microscopy module will remain valid for the duration of one academic year taking into account the session in which it was obtained.
The evaluation is expressed out of thirty (minimum grade 18).
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
