Learning Objectives
The practice lessons aim to provide students with the possibility to deepen their knowledge, from a practical standpoint, in designing, conducting, tailoring, control and assessing a specific training program aimed at the maintenance of motor abilities related to health status and at improving the clinical impact of metabolic disorders.
Program
This is a two-year course (AMDM1 and AMDM2):
- modules 1, 2 and 3 will be provided within the first year (AMDM1);
- modules 4 and 5 will be provided within the second year (AMDM2).
Module 1 (2 credits):
- theoretical-practical training in submaximal cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness assessments, flexibility and body composition, in healthy and metabolic subjects [1 credit = 10 hours: total 20 hours].
Modules 2 and 3 (4 credits each):
- practical training in designing, conducting, and controlling exercise programs in healthy and metabolic subjects [1 credit = 10 hours: total 80 hours].

Theoretical learning outcomes
- not expected due to the practical nature of the lessons.
Practical learning outcomes. The student will possess:
- the ability to apply the theoretical concepts previously retained in prescribing and conducting, under the supervision of qualified exercise specialists, an exercise training program in metabolic patients;
- the ability to contextualize and tailor what is mentioned in the previous point, even in non-standard settings.

It is possible that one or more modules will be held within facilities under officia agreement with the University of Urbino that are not located in Urbino: the students will have to reach each location autonomously.
