Learning Objectives
The learning objectives required for this course are as follows:
The development of the language skills in Arabic as required from the QCER to reach the levels B1/B2. The course includes teaching one dialect, usually the Lebanese one and for a total of 40 hours. Students should learn basic expressions in Lebanese, they will also be given information about the Lebanese society. The program will be done by using movies, songs and biographies of various poets and Lebanese writers.
The second part of the program is dedicated to Standard Arabic Intermediate level. Students will be given topics about politics, sports, geography, and last news. Translation from Arabic to Italian and viceversa method will be used throughout the year.
Program
The course is divided in two parts. The lebanese dialect that covers 40 hours and the Standard Arabic program that will help the student reach a high intermediate level.
The topics are as follows: tourism, business, marketing, literature.

The teaching material prepared by the language assistant in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the language assistant specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
