Learning Objectives

The laboratory aims to give advanced planning and operational preparation in the field of clinical psychology, with particular reference to individual and institutional interventions in different contexts of application (i.e. psychiatric services and communities, family and social intervention, judicial context). The laboratory also aims to provide the technical tools to design appropriate interventions for prevention, diagnosis, and analysis of clinical contexts, thanks to the knowledge of different models of theoretical and methodological approaches and the promotion of critical skills in the student.

Students will have to demonstrate that they have acquired this knowledge by doing exercises during the laboratory and by writing a final paper.

Program

The program consists of 4 working days (5h/day). Each day is divided into two parts:

Part I: Theoretical-methodological presentation of a specific problem of clinical intervention in individual or institutional settings (i.e., problematic aspects of clinical intervention with serious patients in psychiatric and community services);

Part II: Group exercise on the specific clinical problem presented in the first part of the day.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Supporting Activities
