Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
The student must demonstrate knowledge and capacity of understanding superior to those of the first cycle with regard to internal medicine of sport practitioners. She/he must also develop original ideas to conduct clinical research.
Through the gained knowledge, the student must be able to relate the topics of the program of internal medicine diseases to the other course subjects, in an interdisciplinarity perspective, and to address uncommon themes.
The student has to be able to integrate the knowledge gained from the study of internal medicine with personal, in-depth analysis, carried out, even with limited information, using books, articles and search engines.
The student must be able to deal with the complexity of topics, especially in the case of diseases affecting multiple organs and/or multidisciplinary, related to physical activity.
She/he must be able to offer thougths on the ethical and social implications of the topics of study and research.
Students must be able to communicate their knowledge and the results of their studies clearly addressing both an audience of specialists and non-specialists, explaining the logic of their conclusions.
The student must show that she/he has learning capabilities to continue her/his studies in a self-directed or autonomuos way, being able to steer between medical literature, in particular with regard to clinical problems and evidence-based medicine related to physical activities.
