Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide useful knowledge to actively participate in the promotion, organization and management of educational services; starting from the knowledge of the national legislation and of the Marche Region relating to social and educational services, the implementing regulations on some types of educational services will be deepened. In particular, the organization and management of nurseries and pedagogical coordination will be deepened. Through testimonies and guided tours, students will be involved to allow them to live the organizational and management experience.
Program
Starting from the analysis of the historical regulatory evolution of social and educational services in Italy and in the Marche Region, particular attention will be paid to the organization and management of the main educational services aimed at minors, disabled and mentally disturbed, the organization and management of nurseries will be deepened; In addition, topics related to work psychology useful in the management of services will be addressed. Finally, pedagogical coordination.
The course will address the following topics in the following order.
- analysis of national and regional legislation on social services
- social services for minors
- social services for the disabled
- social services for the mentally disabled
- design, organization and management of nursery
- teamwork
- leadership
- job satisfaction
- inadequate work behaviour

Knowledge and understanding: having acquired the contents of the program, understanding the fundamental lines and specific aspects of the organization and management of services.
Application of knowledge and uderstanding: knowing how to apply the concepts, ideas, theories and methodologies learned even in contexts other than the original one; know how to use knowledge and concepts to hypothesize interventions and projects on specific issues; know how to identify relationships also at an interdisciplinary level.
Making judgements: develop critical, autonomous and flexible thinking through reasoning and reflection on the various contents learned; open up to the complexity of the reality of the organization and management of socio-educational services through an exploratory and research attitude; question one's own and others' theories.
Communication skills: demonstrate that they have acquired a sure mastery of the basic lexicon of the discipline and know how to use it in a coherent and logically structured way (use of analysis and synthesis, inductive and deductive processes).
Learning skills: at the end of the course the student must have acquired the ability to clearly express the contents of the course, to communicate them through a correct disciplinary language, to argue on issues and problems of the organization and management of educational services.

The evaluation criteria used for the tests are: - relevance and effectiveness of the answers in relation to the contents of the program; - level of articulation of the response; - adequacy of the disciplinary language used
Oral exam.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
