The course aims to provide the basic computer knowledge necessary to enable an informed use of network resources and common productivity software tools that could be useful in the specific application domain of the course of study.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
The student must acquire:
- Mastery of the fundamental concepts of information technology, knowledge of the methods of representation and management of digital information, in particular in relation to the transmission of information via the Internet and the use of Web technologies,
- The ability to adequately exploit productivity software features (eg: G Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.) and to master online collaboration tools,
- Knowledge of the basics of IT security and the ability to use correct tools and approaches for maintaining privacy and data security.
