Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
D1-Knowledge and understanding The student must acquire good knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, with the aim of understanding the rationale for the use of drugs in different pathological conditions and any adverse effects. D2-Ability to apply knowledge and understanding. The student must demonstrate that she/he is able to interpret and explain the logic underlying the use of a therapy with one or more classes of drugs in different pathologies. She/he must also acquire similar skills to understand problems regarding possible side effects. D3-Autonomy of judgement. The student must demonstrate the ability to analyze and use the information acquired in a critical way. D4-Communication skills. At the end of the training activity, the student must be able to deal with various problems relating to the use and effects of drugs, with the ability to communicate appropriately with the patient and, when and if necessary, with the medical staff. D5- Learning ability. The student must be able to use the knowledge acquired to build their own pharmacological competence, which, also in light of the dynamic dimension of the discipline, must include a continuous updating process.
