Learning Objectives

The traineeship should enable the student to gain an in-depth understanding of the the programming and planning of motor skills training both conditional and coordinative, in individual and team sports.

Program

The general basics of training theory:
- Outlines of training theory
- The capacity for sports performance
- The principles of training
- Training and periodization
- Tools for functional evaluation
- The training of the main forms of motor solicitation
- Strength training:

Muscle contraction.
Muscle contraction regimes.
Mechanisms of force.
Expressions of force.
Maximum force training methods.
Analysis of a SJ with simultaneous measurement of variation in position and speed of the centre of gravity.
Analysis of leg-press movements with simultaneous measurement of the angular change at the knee and the speed of load displacement.

Assessment of the Force-Velocity curve with bench exercise.
General knowledge of the force platform and analysis of an SJ, CMJ, Drop Jump performed on a force platform.

Teaching Material

Attendance

Attendance is required for 75% of the hours per module.

Minimum mandatory attendance: 2/3 of total practice lessons. As for the practical activities, attendance is intended as the active participation in the lesson.

Assessment

A final report is required

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
