Learning Objectives
The purpose of the course is to provide a histological and anatomical competence of the whole human organism necessary for the performance of any profession in the motor and sports field.
Program
Introduction to the structure and function of the cell.
Histology: lining epithelia and glandular epithelia. Connective tissues. Blood and Lymph. Muscle tissue.
Anatomy:
Cardiovascular system. Structure of the heart wall. Internal anatomy and organization of the heart. Cardiac cycle. Histological organization of blood vessels
Digestive system: oral cavity and related glands, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, intestine. Organs attached to the digestive system .: Liver: relationships, structure and functions. Pancreas: morpho-functional aspects. Respiratory system. Upper and lower airways. Lungs, pulmonary lobes, brochi, bronchioles and alveolar ducts. Pleure. Urinary system. Kidney and urinary tract. Ureters, bladder and urethra. Endocrine system: hormones. Pituitary, epiphysis, thyroid, parathyroid, endocrine pancreas, adrenal gland, interstitial tissue of the testis and ovary. Diffuse endocrine system.
II. Part Histology: supporting connective tissues: cartilage and bone tissue, nervous tissue. Locomotor system. The skeleton as a whole. Skull. Spine and different types of vertebrae. Rib cage, sternum and ribs. Shoulder girdle and pelvic girdle. Bones of the upper limb and bones of the lower limb.
Articulations: structure, types and functional aspects. Synarthrosis, diarthrosis and systematics of the joints. Generalities on the muscles. Muscles of the neck and spine, muscles of the back and chest, muscles of the abdomen. Diaphragm and respiratory muscles. Muscles of the upper limb and muscles of the lower limb.
General information on the nervous system: structure, organization and morpho-functional aspects. Spinal cord. Encefalic trunk. Cerebellum. Diencephalon. Telencephalon.CSF. Meninges: dura mater, arachnoid and pia mater. Cranial nerves. Spinal nerves. Motor routes. Pathways of general sensitivity. Autonomous nervous system.
Bridging Courses
In accordance with the raccomandation of the school of Sport, Health and Physical Exercise the exame of human biology is preparatory to for the exam of human anatomy.
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
The student must demonstrate that he has achieved a knowledge and understanding of Anatomy that allows him / her to set up the discussion of theoretical issues in a logical and complete way.
The student has to demonstrate that they are able to set up the treatment of application problems in the Anatomy's field.
The studen has to demostrate to be able to independently different opinions on problematic aspects of the Anatomy
The student has to demonstrate to achieve a good learning ability, not only in the form of memorizing the information studied, but also in the form of organizing his own thoughts around the different topics of the course.

- Assessment
The exam includes two partial multiple choice tests, which will be held during the course, and a final oral test.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

Oral exam consisting of an oral interview aimed at verifying the adequate knowledge and skills acquired by the student.
