Learning Objectives
Purpose: To present and demonstrate the practical operation of machines/technologies for training and motor rehabilitation, for both athletic and non-athletic users. The goal is to make participants aware of which tools/technologies can meet specific needs for monitoring and improving performance or recovery of individuals (whether they are athletes or not).
Machines and technologies intended to be presented during this internship:
- Isoinertial machines;
- Auxotonic machines and machines for the flexibility of the myofascial chains;
- Machines for the evaluation/training/recovery of the visual system (visual skills);
- Machines for the evaluation of the autonomic nervous system and body composition, with a focus on predictive and preventive medicine and performance;
- Machines for physical motor conditioning with electric motors.
Theoretical content:
Description and demonstration of the operation of the selected machines.
Practical content:
Practical trials of the presented machines/technologies aimed at gaining knowledge and mastery of the theoretical and practical concepts covered during the internship.
Program
The internship will begin at the start of the SECOND SEMESTER.
Machines and technologies intended to be presented during this internship:

The detailed topics, official dates, and times will be communicated well in advance of the start of the internship, which is tentatively scheduled to take place during the last week of February and the first week of March 2025.

Teaching Material

Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment
- Attendance
As stated in the Academic Regulations of the Degree Program, technical-practical activities must be attended for at least two-thirds of their duration. With regard to practical-exercise activities, it is specified that attendance means active participation in the lesson.
Wear sports attire.
An evaluation of learning at the end of the internship is mandatory (detailed information will be provided at the beginning of the internship).
It is mandatory to have a valid medical certificate.

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
