Learning Objectives

Knowledge and acquisition of technical/practical skills relating to the application and design of specific operational and personalized protocols in post-traumatic functional re-education, and in primary and secondary prevention and in the treatment of chronic degenerative pathologies

Program

Participation in water motor recovery activities alongside the Teacher.

1) Presentation of the traineeship: introduction, conduct, mode of attendance, definition of the calendar;

2) Methodological approaches in re-educational treatment in water;

3) Use of specific tools in water;

4) Re-education in water orthopedic pathologies;

5) Re-education in water rheumatic pathologies;

6)  Re-education in water neurological pathologies; 

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

  • Knowledge and ability to understand the general methods and specific techniques relating to functional re-education in water relating to different conditions and problems.
  • Ability to understand the specific techniques necessary for the formulation of individualized protocols and the methods of design and execution of the protocols adapted to the individual subject and the application of the same in an adequate manner referring to the different conditions and problems.
  • Ability to orient yourself independently in the planning and administration of specific re-education protocols in water.
  • Acquisition of communication skills suitable for making communication effective both in the relationship with the subject and in the relationship between colleagues.
  • Acquisition of the technical-practical prerequisites that stimulate and allow the deepening and updating of the knowledge and skills already acquired and the acquisition of new knowledge and skills.

Practical lessons at the Mondolce Swimming Plant

Attendance

Minimum mandatory attendance: 2/3 of total practice lessons. As to the practical activities attendance is intended as the active participation to the lesson.

Assessment

Presentation of written report

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

Notes

It is mandatory to be equipped with suitable clothing both for practicing in the water (swimsuit, cap, slippers) and for practicing on land (t-shirt, shorts, slippers).
