Program

This course is designed to help students improve their communication skills, with a focus on listening, through the use of videos and topic-based discussions from the book (Business Partner B1+ Pearson) and the business world. We will learn business expressions and vocabulary and review grammatical structures.

First-year students (B1e) must purchase the Business Partner B1+ (Pearson) book for the B1 English course. Additional materials for this exam will be provided in class and on Blended Learning.

Mock exams covering specific topics in the final exam will be held at the end of each semester.

There is also self-study material available at the Centro Lingustico Ateneo in Via Budassi. You can obtain an identity card and B1 listening materials for the listening lab from the secretary.

As for the exams, we will cover all the topics in the book, which will also be used as a basis for the final listening exam and the oral exam.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the language assistant in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the language assistant specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
