Program
This course is designed to help students who have never studied French to reach a B1 level during the academic year.
During the first semester, students will be introduced to the French language with the support of the book ‘Nouveau rond-point 1 A1-A2’, the purchase of which is required.
During the second semester, students will continue their learning through the use of material that will be available on the Blended platform.
Each week a topic will be covered from which communicative, grammatical, lexical, phonetic and cultural competence will be developed.
- During the first semester the lessons will be organised on the basis of the units in the volume ‘Nouveau rond-point 1’.
- During the second semester, cultural topics will be covered - as a basis for developing communicative, grammatical, phonetic and lexical competence - in order to begin to understand the French and Francophone world. Topics: laïcité, le système scolaire français, les langages des jeunes, la cuisine, la France métropolitaine, le monde francophone, les institutions françaises, l'économie et l'écologie.
During the course, all topics that will be examined will be covered and simulations will be carried out (dictations, grammar exercises, written comprehension, written and oral productions).
