Learning Objectives

The course aims to present some advanced therapy strategies using extracellular vesicles derived from red blood cells (RBCEVs) with particular reference to the delivery of biological drugs.

Program

The course will give information about the techniques to produce RBCEVs, bot by chemical and physical methods. Information about the different loading strategies will also be given. Furthermore, some biotech companies will be presented, as well as some therapeutic strategies that have been recently developed.

The module is in the context of the whole course of "Advanced Therapies".

The student will aquire knowledge and understanding in the field and will be able to apply the latters to achieve problem solving and making judgements abilities.
