The Masters is aimed at level three managerial training required to become the director general of LHAs. The Masters provides techniques and tools for the managerial process, mainly referring to organization and management areas of healthcare services, quality indicators of services connected with public healthcare, human resource management, funding criteria and budget and control elements. The Masters, conducted in collaboration between the Law Department (DiGiur), the Department of Economics, Society and Politics (DESP) and the Department of Communication Science and Humanistic Studies (Discum), was set up according to an agreement stipulated on 23 July 2014 between the Marche Regional Administration and the University of the Marche, the University of Camerino, the University of Macerata and the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, to create a managerial training school pursuant to articles 15, 16-quinquies, of the Leg. Decree no 502/1992, and art. 7 of the Pres. Decree no. 484/1997 and pursuant to the State-Regions Agreement dated 10 July 2003. This Convention foresees the start up of a Master, and also of a level two managerial training course for healthcare directors, administrators and executive management in healthcare professions (for this purpose, the University of Urbino Carlo Bo set up the “Post-graduate managerial course for healthcare management, administration management and in healthcare professions in the digital era”) and a level one managerial training course for facility executive managers (for this purpose, the University of Urbino Carlo Bo set up the “Post-grad managerial training course for facility executive managers in the digital healthcare”).
