The course provides the participants with tangible tools and practical methods to use in teaching and learning with all children, even ones with difficulty, to help them access concepts and content of subjects by using several channels and strategies. The students will have first-hand experience of the use and function of teaching practices, technological tools and communication-relational strategies that bear in mind the individual difference and difficulties that children encounter and help the development of autonomy and improve in the sense of personal efficiency, without destroying self-esteem and effective intellectual capacities. The course is aimed at those who already face such problems and wish to further their knowledge and skills, and people who wish to train in order to begin a career in teaching and education. Students can enrol on the course at the same time as enrolling on a Masters, a degree or a specialised degree, a PhD or a TFA. Anyone wishing to attend the course with a high-school leaving certificate, without having a degree, can take part in the course as a “listener”. Listeners do not take exams and tests, do not obtain credits and receive an attendance certificate at the end of the course. Listeners can pay a reduced fee.
