The course is aimed at level one managerial training required to work as directors in a healthcare structure. It provides tools and techniques for the managerial process mainly referring to the organisation and management of health services, quality indicators of services connected with public health service human resource management and funding criteria and budget and control. The course, carried out in collaboration between the Law Department (DiGiur), the Department of Economics, Society and Politics (DESP) and the Department of Communication Science and Humanistic Studies (Discum), has been set up based on the Convention agreed on 23 July 2014 between the Marche Region and the University of the Marche, the University of Camerino, the University of Macerata and the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, to create a managerial training school as per articles 15, 16-quinquies, of the Leg. Decree no. 502/1992, and article 7 of the Pres. Decree no. 484/1997 and in accordance with the State-Regions agreement from 10 July 2003. This convention foresees the setting up of a level two Masters, in addition to the course, for level three managerial training for director generals (for this purpose, the University of Urbino Carlo Bo has set up the Masters in "Management of healthcare organisations in the digital era”) and a level two managerial training course for health directors, administration managers and healthcare professionals (for this purpose, the University of Urbino Carlo Bo has set up the “Post-graduate course in managerial training for healthcare management, administration management and healthcare professionals in the digital era”).
