Learning Objectives
Themes
On the scientific-disciplinary level, the knowledge of European culture, declined in its linguistic and literary aspects, aims to overcome the impasse of a scholastic and university education which is often defined by sectorial approaches, rarely based on the transversality of knowledge and refractory to the interdisciplinary enhancement of the contents.
The program aims to provide students and teachers with specific skills on European culture in relation to the global world, to solicit the growth of a pro-European, democratic and pluralist conscience that aims at the formation of consciously and fully European citizens.
The didactic workshops will address the problem of the relationship between literature and otherness in interdisciplinary and diachronic terms.
Scientific research start-up laboratories will focus on the most up-to-date methods and experiences in the field of philological-linguistic research, in which alterity and comparison play a central role in the investigation of the text and in which the dimension of diatopia is a key to understanding the European culture of the origins and the very idea of Europe.
Lectio magistral and workshops
The course includes at least one daily lectio magistralis, alongside a series of thematic workshops, structured in two different groups. The first group of workshops, led by university-level professors who are experts in teaching training, in collaboration with SIFR- Scuola, is dedicated to teachers. The second one is dedicated to students and scholars in training and is guided by professors and researchers with research experience in Italy and abroad, updated on the main European and national regulations on the subject of calls for research funding.
