Education Sciences (L-19 R)

The course prepares for the professions of:

- Pre-primary school teachers (childhood curriculum), working in kindergartens (0-3 years).

- Educators in socio-educational and socio-assistance services, in cultural services, in childcare and early adolescence. These professionals work in homes, communities, educational-recreational centres, centres for children, the elderly and families.

Pursuant to Law no. 55 of 15 April 2024 - Provisions on the regulation of pedagogical and educational professions and establishment of the relevant professional registers - a degree in Education Sciences is a prerequisite for registration in the Register of Social and Educational Educators.

The course of study is divided into two curricula:

- Educatore/trice professionale socio-pedagogico/a e culturale (Professional socio-pedagogical and cultural educator)

- Educatore/trice nei servizi per l'infanzia (Educator in childcare services)

The course includes lectures, practical laboratory activities and internships. These enable students to apply the knowledge acquired in simulation contexts, linked to the projecting and evaluation of educational intervention, and to begin to construct the most appropriate professional paths.
