Learning Objectives
The course provides students who are already holders of basic institutional notions of private law. The didactic goal is to consolidate these notions about the discipline of the person's ability, of the properties and their circulation. The methodological objective is to improve the student's approach to the legal text introducing short non-institutional readings in order to encourage a greater critical sense in the understanding of the legal system. Therefore expects the attainment of a first, elementary, methodological capacity.
Program
In the first semester the following topics: Sources of private law; law enforcement; legal activities and subjective legal situations; theory of legal facts; Advertising and proof of legal facts; the act in space and time; the subjects of law; the personality rights; the goods; the property and rights in rem
In the second semester the following topics: the possessory situations and the effects of the possession; the company and intangible assets. They find their place in the second semester also thematic studies relating to the discipline of real rights.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
A) knowledge and understanding: The students will demonstrate knowledge acquired through study of institutional texts (knowledge of the sources of law and of the most notable case law). They must also demonstrate the ability to understand short monographs, acquiring the ability to develop and produce original ideas, with the study of judgment or cases proposed by the teacher.
B) applying knowledge and understanding: The student will demonstrate to be able to apply their knowledge, understanding and skills in solving problems related to the matter even within broader contexts or interdisciplinary. Must in particular acquire at least initial capacity of subsumption of the case in the regulatory scheme by solving emblematic cases.
C) Making judgments: The student will demonstrate the ability to integrate knowledge and handle complexity, and formulate judgments based also upon incomplete or limited information, but that include reflecting on social and ethical consequences related to interpretative options adopted.
D) Communication skills: The student must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and unambiguously its conclusions on the occasion of group work, seminars, workshops, speaking correctly with the teacher and their colleagues in the context of the working class.
E) learning skills: Students must demonstrate that they have developed those learning skills that will enable them to continue studying in a largely self-directed or self even on monographic texts and cases.

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
