Learning Objectives
The course aims to let students think about cognitive processes at the core of foreign language communicative competence. The main goal is to let students develop the capacity of designing teaching activities oriented to practice the five linguistic skills in modern foreign languages.
Accordingly, particular attention will be drawn on the foreign language teacher's tasks and competencies. Creational and preparatory strategies for Learning Units fitting the learner's needs will be studied as well.

- Theories, methods and techniques in Foreign Language Teaching/Learning;
- Teaching integrated communicative skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Negotiating;
- Teaching Vocabulary and Language awareness;
- Planning a foreign language lesson, period, course;
Teaching Material
The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

The course will be taught entirely in English with CLIL methodology . The final exam and the bibliography are in English
