Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide students with the conceptual categories for understanding the different rights of equal opportunities with regard to discrimination in the workplace and, more generally, in the social life. Starting from the principle of formal and substantive equality in the italian Constitution, the course will underline a systematic reconstruction of the different types of European anti-discrimination law, with a particular attention to the case law of the Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.

- The new EU anti-discrimination law

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
1) Complete knowledge of European anti-discrimination law.
2) In-depth knowledge of the jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.

Oral test, because it's more adequate to verify the knowledge of the subject
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
