Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide the tools for reading and writing Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) paying attention to phonetics, morphology and syntax. It will also provide the lexical skills for a basic conversation.

Fundamentals of morpho-syntax, core-vocabulary
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
At the end of the course the student will be able to read and understand a simple text in Arabic and to conduct a simple conversation in Arabic.
