Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, a student should have a good basic knowledge of the major periods and trends in the development of Chinese literature from the end of the imperial period to the to the first half of the 20th century, focusing on the changes that led to the formation of modern and contemporary literature and on the analysis of some of the most significant texts
