Learning Objectives
The course, addressed to the students of Psychology, aims at facing the relationship between "Reciprocal Ego and Differential Ego" within the latest problematic developments of problematic modern and contemporary Western Philosophy. In particular, it expands upon the connection among subject, desire, power and recognition, through the philosophical thought of Hegel, Simmel, Kojève and Butler.

- Subject, desire, power, recognition: Hegel tra Kojève e Butler.
- Power psychic life Subjectivation and subjection. Hegel and beyond.
- Reciprocal and differential Ego. Configuration of reciprocity through Simmel.
- Psychology, philosophy and sociology of fashion, of senses and meal.
- The bridge over the big abyss. Simmel's philosophical territory.

With regards to the discipline, the student has to show the possession of:
- the mastery of basic knowledge;
- the understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline;
- the capacity of using skills and concepts according to the logic of the discipline.

Oral exam.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

The three course books conform to the fixed 800 pages.
