Learning Objectives
Learning outcomes: Identify and manage the needs of dietary and nutritional assistance considering educational aspect, preventive, clinical and rehabilitation in various specialized areas of medical, surgical, oncological physiopathology as well as maternal and childhood peculiarity. Plan and implement interventions to dietary and nutritional care in different physiological conditions: developmental age, pregnant, nursing, geriatric age. Plan and manage dietary and nutritional interventions in the context of particular diseases, actively working with interprofessional teams.
Program
Nutritional treatment in metabolic diseases: obesity, diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, gout. nutritional treatment in renal impairment; prevention of kidney stones. Osteoporosis. Nutrition and cancer. Nutrition and sports. Aesthetics Nutrition and antiaging. Food intolerance, food allergies, and food-medication interaction. Inflammatory bowel disease and malabsorption syndromes, diseases of the esophagus, stomach and liver. Eating Disorders (DCA) Neurological diseases, dysphagia and elements of artificial nutrition (enteral and parenteral). Food supplements and dietary products. Elements of Nutrition in children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, nutrition in the elderly.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
