Learning Objectives
Cognitive Linguistics is a theoretical framework which includes the work of linguists with different backgrounds. The second part of the eighties decade of the past century is a crucial perood in CL. In this perid are published important works such as the first volume of Ronald langaker's Foundations of Cognitive Grammar and the nook Women, fire and dangerous things of George Lakoff.
The course has the goal to introduce students to the main topics of CL.
