Learning Objectives
Students will have a direct knowledge of Anglo-American culture from a geo-historical perspective, through the protagonists and the main movements of literature, cinema, and politics.
Program
During the course we shall study Anglo-American history, geography, and culture focussing in particular on the importance of ships and navigation. We shall specifically deal with such concepts as voyage, escape, and resistance. Among our guests: Marco Morini (US elections), Andrea Laquidara (film and soundscape studies), Stefano Luconi (author of La nazione indispensabile), and Cesare Cioni (author of Data Astrale 2016.9 - Cinquant’anni di Star Trek).
