Learning Objectives

The course aims to develop:

  • the knowledge of Russian dissidence
  • the knowledge of unofficial Russian literature and of its ways of communication
  • students' understanding of why literature was so central in Russian culture

    Students will be able to:

  • recognize the main authors of Russian dissidence
  • analyze their works
  • categorize the features of literature of dissidence and its characteristic ways of communication

    The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

    Assessment

    The exam consists of 5 open-ended questions and it lasts 50 minutes. Evaluation criteria (for each answer): Adequacy (4 points), Logical organization (1 point), Grammatical appropriateness (1 point). Only students passing the written exam with a minimum of 27, can ask for an additional oral exam to improve their grade.  

    Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

    Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

    To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.

    Notes

    The program of the exam lasts one academic year.
