Learning Objectives
The course aims to provide students with the coordinates of a new epistemology of professional practices and a consistent quality training, given the complex and unpredictable challenges of modernity, in a lifelong learning perspective. In particular, the course aims to examine the issue of training of teachers in reflective thought. The analysis will be carried out both from the point of view of the theoretical foundations that the possible methodological and operational dimensions, with references to the initial and in-service teacher education.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
In relation to the pedagogy of training the student must show possession: - the mastery of basic knowledge about the models of teacher training, with both the initial training to in-service training with a view to life-long-learning - understanding of the basic concepts of the discipline, with reference to the reflective thought as a paradigm of a new professional epistemology. To that effect must be able to discuss arrangements, suitable procedures and tools to the formation of reflective thought. - The ability to use knowledge and concepts to reason according to the logic of the discipline, in order to initial and in-service teacher. It must be able, in particular, to simulate some reflexive procedures for vocational training.

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
Supporting Activities
Exercises - supplementary seminars. It provides for the holding of two seminars:
The first seminar will be titled "host communities and communities of thought". He will be coordinated by the teacher, prof. Maria-Chiara Michelini with assistance of Dr. G. Sortino and Dr. C. Bernardini community for mothers with children and refugee reception centers of the foundation onlus Sagrini of Fermo.
The second seminar will be titled "HOW TO MAKE A THESIS", conducted by Prof. Maria-Chiara Michelini, with a duration of four hours. The seminar also includes a part of practical simulation.

- Teaching
Lectures, seminars, work groups.Per regard to coordination of group work is expected support from experts on the subject. as regards the seminars are expected: interventions of Dr. G. Sortino and Dr. C. Bernardini community for mothers with children and refugee reception centers of the foundation onlus Sagrini of Fermo, for the seminar "community centers of welcome and community of thought" experts on the subject of support for the practical simulation of the seminar "how to make a thesis"

- Assessment
The objectives are verified by an oral interview as it seeks to establish the basic knowledge related to the current conception of reflective thought in the professions, with particular reference to the teaching. - Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
