Learning Objectives
Students will have a direct knowledge of Anglo-American culture from a geo-historical perspective, through the protagonists and the main movements of literature, cinema, and politics.
Program
City, space, desert, and wilderness are just some of the words that we shall meet on our way. The program is based on the representations of the US landscapes with many links to our present times. We shall concentrate on some particular issues such as dowsing, detection, the Vietnam war, and symbolic landscapes. The Urbinoir congress will offer the students the opportunity to participate actively in event organization and attendance.
