Learning Objectives
The course aims to outline a profile of the social and cultural history of France in the twentieth and twentieth-firts centuries through the literary and cinematographic representation of the world of work.
Program
The main stages of the French cultural history will be repeated through literary and cinematographic examples which concern the world of work.
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
Understanding and comprehension: The student will have a solid understanding of French historical contexts and cultural products.
Ability to apply understanding and comprehension: The student will be able to use the necessary tools and will know how to apply methodologies learned to analyse texts and documents.
Autonomous evaluation: The student will possess the critical and interpretive skills necessary to create autonomous analyses and judgements on broad cultural themes and current French socio-cultural themes.
Communications abilities: The student will be able to communicate on general informational topics and on specific topics and use sectoral language.
Learning skills: The student will develop those learning abilities necessary to update and consolidate their knowledge.
