Learning Objectives
The student at the end of the course will have to know the anatomical and structural modifications of bones, muscles and joint components in various congenital, inflammatory and traumatic pathologies.
Program
Congenital deformations. Alteration of normal body morphology. Spondylolysis, Spondylolisthesis. Scoliosis. Discal hernia. Congenital hip dysplasia. Knock-kneed, bow-legged. Bad foot, flat foot. Bone remodeling. Osteoporosis. Rachitism and osteomalacia.
Osteomyelitis. Fractures: etiology, pathogenesis, evolution, therapy.
Dislocations. Distortions.
Arthrosis, synovial fluid pathologies, rheumatoid arthritis. Tendon. Traumatic tendon injuries. Rotator headphone pathology. Epicondylitis.
Traumatic muscle injuries. Muscle tear. Muscular dystrophy.
Congenital and acquired myopathies: anatomical, structural and ultrastructural muscle changes. Inflammatory, metabolic and neurogenic myopathies.
Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease anatomy.
Bridging Courses
There is not propedeuticity.
Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
Learning outcomes are fundamental to those of Neurophysiology. At the end of the course, the student will have basic knowledge of the most common structural modifications of bones, muscles and joint components occurring in various congenital, inflammatory and traumatic pathologies.

Frontal lessons with seminars on specific topics from the experts.

Frequency is strongly recommended.

- Assessment
Oral examination. The student will be asked two or three questions about the full program. The appropriateness of language and the degree of knowledge of the subject matter will be evaluated.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
