Learning Objectives

The course intruduces the basics of environmental and land economics, with a focus on environmental policies and on the economics of natural disasters

    Knowledge and ability to understand:

    - Gain knowledge about the main economic models for the evaluation of the relationships between the economy and the environment

    - Gain knowledge about the policy framework at the national and EU levels in the field of sustainable development and natural resources

    - Gain knowledge about economic models to ex-post and ex-ante evaluation of natural disasters

    - Combine the different concepts learnt during the course using a suitable jargon

    - Develop the ability to learn new skills by means of further educational programs and/or professional experiences
