Learning Objectives

-  Understand a wide range of long and difficult texts from which be able to read between the lines.

-  Speak fluently and spontaneously without making such an effort to find the right words.

-  Use the language efficiently for social, academic and professional goals.

-  Write clear and complex texts using appropriated structures about difficult topics showing the control  of coherence and cohesion mechanisms.

• Strengthening and extension of the contrast between the verbs ser/estar

• Strengthening and extension of the uses of ser y estar with preposition

• Structures with ser

• Proverbs with con ser y estar

• Passive Voice

• Tense: historical present

• Use and relation of the tenses in the past: pretérito indefinido, pretérito perfecto, pretérito imperfecto, pretérito pluscuamperfecto, futuro perfecto

• Tense:  Conditional Simple with a past meaning

• Verbs with a double meaning depending on how they are used: indicativo o subjuntivo

• Strengthening of the Imperative

• Strengthening about leísmo, laísmo y loísmo

• Time connectors

• Connectors that indicatethe way to do something

• Adverbs and expressions related to time and way

• Strengthening of past tenses

• Strengthening and extension of contrast clauses

• Strengthening and extension of causal connectors

• Strengthening and extension of the uses of the prepositions por / para

• Less common infinitive phrasal verbs: venir a, estar para, estar por, echar(se) a, llegar a, darle a uno por, quedar(se), quedar en, meterse a.

• Gerund phrasal verbs: ir, venir, llevar, quedar(se)/dejar, salir, acabar, andar.

• Participle phrasal verbs: dar por, llevar, andar, quedar/dejar, tener, verse.
