Learning Objectives

This course is for students who have already reached level B2. It provides a solid preparation for the understanding of written texts and the composition of written documents in the economic-business context. The skills necessary for effective application in the professional field are developed through interactive teaching activities. Group works support and require active participation.

At the end of the course the student is able to understand difficult texts in terms of length and complexity, also grasping their implicit meanings. He will be able to express himself spontaneously and fluently through a broad vocabulary and often without having to search for the most suitable words. The students can address complex topics in a clear, structured and comprehensive way.

Program

The focus of this course is the composition of written texts in economic-business context. With didactic exercises, the topics covered will be consolidated and the acquired knowledge applied. After each lesson, a topic will be proposed to be elaborated at home based on the topics covered in class to implement written processing skills in preparation for the exam to be passed at the end of the course.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the language assistant in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the language assistant specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it
