Learning Objectives

The course aims to provide the most up-to-date knowledge on the methodologies currently used for the physical, technical and tactical preparation of athletes in high-level realities, and the methodological, didactic and technical skills to be able to apply this knowledge practically to any sporting context, with analytical references to the most advanced technological tools for an objective assessment of performance.

Analysis of collective work as a result of individualized preparation
The objective evaluation of the proposed work
PHYSICAL-ATHLETIC PREPARATION
Integrated stability training
Integrated proprioceptive and kinesthetic training

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

Knowledge and understanding:
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the theoretical knowledge of methodologies currently used for the physical, technical and tactical preparation of athletes in high-level realities.
Applying knowledge and understanding:
The student will have to demonstrate that they have the ability to interpret and apply their knowledge, skills and understanding to the specific sporting reality they intend to train.
Making judgments: The student will have developed a sufficient critical capacity to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the means of evaluation and training in relation to the objectives set.
Communication skills: The student will learn to create a positive relationship with athletes, to explain, demonstrate and correct movement, to support and motivate training.
Learning skills: Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired good autonomy in the search for study materials with reference to the topics of the course. The student will have acquired the ability to critically evaluate training methods and protocols present in sports realities.

For further information, the following are recommended:

-Research and teaching: movement analysis and new technologies, Giuseppe Baldassarre, Guida Ed.

-Analysis of performance in team sports, Duarte Araujo, Pedro Passos, Anna Yolossovirch, Calzetti and Mariucci.

Assessment

In order to ascertain the preparation at the end of the course, the student must take an oral test preceded by a compulsory and selective written test consisting of a multiple choice test concerning the topics of the course of study.

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
