Learning Objectives
Educational objectives: 1) provide a basic knowledge of the main processes that affect the geosphere, understood as a complex system composed of the lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and cryosphere. 2) form awareness of the main ideas and conceptions about the planet Earth and their development, particularly in relation to the environment and global changes.

The Geosphere and its parts, The Earth as a system, The Earth in the cosmos, Evolution of the Earth, Plate tectonics, Earthquakes and seismic waves, Internal structure of the Earth, Shape of the Earth, Models and methods of investigation in Geophysics, Rheology of materials geophysicists, glacial isostasy and sea level, global changes.
