Learning Objectives

Obiettivo del corso sarà il recupero delle radici dell'arte italiana prendere ad esempio un cantiere straordinario come quello di Assisi che, tra la basilica inferiore e quella superiore, ha visto la presenza degli artisti più qualificati da Simone Martini, per il Maestro della Maddalena, a Cimabue, a Giottoa ad un gruppo di pittori anonimi.

Study of the historical period and spiritual movements

Analysis of Franciscanism

Reading of the frescoes and their meanings

Analysis of artistical personalities

Bridging Courses

Knowledge of the role of images within sacred places

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)

Ability to decode the meanings of religious messages related to the historical period.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Supporting Activities

Visit to museums and sacred buildings also to contextualize the historical period.

Art history manual adopted by the High Schools on the period under examination.

During the course, power points and pdfs will be made available on the in-depth topics

Assessment

Oral examination

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
