Learning Objectives
The aim of the course hinges on the understanding of the basic mechanisms causing endoplasmic reticulum (ER stress) and on how to tackle the related response.
Program
The course will tackle the causes of the stress of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER stress) and highlight the intersection between ER stress and oxidative stress. Finally, new inhibitors of pathways involved in the ER stress response will be mentioned and their use in ER stress-associated diseases will be critically analyzed.

- Assessment
At the end of the course, multiple-choice questions will be used to assess students.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
