Learning Objectives
The laboratory intends to illustrate how a literature search for scientific objectives is carried out and how a scientific communication is drafted.
The laboratory will present the main search engines and bibliographic databases; will introduce a practical search of literature for an area of interest, teaching how to collect relevant material and identifying the Impact Factor of scientific journals.
Finally, the laboratory will teach how to write a scientific communication using bibliographic management software for inserting bibliographic citations.
Students will be offered various exercises to be carried out in the classroom and at home, and the drafting of a final paper will be required.

- Course books
No texts are provided. However, slides are an integral part of the study material
- Assessment
Evaluation of the homework produced after each class and the final paper (including punctuality). Only a positive evaluation will award the credits provided by the workshop.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
