Learning Objectives

1) To know the main  features of the women’s writings in italian literature from the Middle Age to contemporary age (Knowledge and understanding)

2) To be able to analyze a text belonging to female literary tradition from a tematic o stylistic point of view (Applying knowledge)

3) To be able to make connection between a text and the cultural and hystorical backround (Knowledge and Applying knowledge)

4) To know and understand the critical debate about women’s studies and develop an autonomous critical capacity in the field about the authors and the works selected (Knowledge and Making judgements)

5) to demonstrate the ability to integrate their own knowledge  and making judgements, which will be espressed through active participation in discussions with the teacher and among students themselves in particolular during workshops (Making judgements)

6) to demostrate the ability to communicate the acquired knowledge in a clear, essential and scientifically correct shape (Communication)

7) to demonstrate the ability to develop their own learning with autonomy and critical sense (Learning skills)

B. Monographic course: women writers from the Marche region in the modern and contemporary ages

3. The lecture handouts that will be made available in the moodle platform blended.uniurb.it should also be studied.

Teaching Material

The teaching material prepared by the lecturer in addition to recommended textbooks (such as for instance slides, lecture notes, exercises, bibliography) and communications from the lecturer specific to the course can be found inside the Moodle platform › blended.uniurb.it

Teaching

In the lessons the main tematic and stylistic features of the womens’ writings will be explained and putted it in relationship with the traditional literary canon;  moreover, theoretical and critical issues about womens’ studies  will be focused on; a particular attention will be gived to reading, useful to introduce a methodology to analyse a literary work.
