Learning Objectives
The objective of the course is to offer an overview of the current Hispanic dialect complexity taking into account its historical development.

Learning Achievements (Dublin Descriptors)
At the end of the course the student:
-will know the different theoretical and methodological perspectives of the study of the geolinguistic variation of the Spanish language;
-will have acquired knowledge on the causes, diachronic and synchronic, of the diatopic variation of Spanish;
-will be able to identify, thanks to the tools acquired during the course, the varieties of European Spanish.

Any changes and / or additions to the presented program will be communicated to the students at the beginning of the course.
- Assessment
The method of assessment relating to the monographic course will be written. This is a written work, which can be made up of both open-ended questions and multiple-choice questions relating to the content of the course. Not only formal and content correctness will be assessed, but also the mastery of the methodological tools used (references to the study material). The student must also demonstrate that they have reached the expected level of linguistic competence at the exit for the reference year, as indicated in the Vademecum.
- Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)
Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.
To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
