Learning Objectives

The aim of the course is to provide students with the main competencies about the relational abilties applied to psychology. More specifically, at the end of the course the student should be able to use these abilities and apply them within the relationship with others in the psychological context. 

Program

The course will provide knowledges about the relational abilities and about their application to everyday interactions and communications. More specifically, the course will be about: 

- self-assuredness/confidence; 

- application of the relational abilities to non-verbal communications; 

- application of the relational abilities to verbal communications.

- Knowledge and understanding: acquiring the adapt knowledge and understanding of the relational abilities studied during the course

- Applying knowledge and understanding: applying the knowledges acquired during the course to different interactions and situations. 

 - Applying knowledge and different abilities in order to apply the studied constructs in different situations. 

- Autonomy of judgement and critical thought in relation to the constructs studied during the course 

- Ability to communicate proficiently the different relational abilities studied during the course.

Assessment

Assessment will be made in due course and at the end of the course with an examination focused on the theory and its application to psychological work. 

Disability and Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

Students who have registered their disability certification or SLD certification with the Inclusion and Right to Study Office can request to use conceptual maps (for keywords) during exams.

To this end, it is necessary to send the maps, two weeks before the exam date, to the course instructor, who will verify their compliance with the university guidelines and may request modifications.
