The most recent knowledge on gametogenesis, embryogenesis, genetics in reproduction and ART will be illustrated. All the ART technologies such as: sperm evaluation and preparation, intra-uterine insemination, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), gamete and embryo cryo-preservation and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis will be described. Furthermore, notions on Quality Assessment and Management in ART and the specific Italian Legislation on the field will be explained.
Program
01 – Human Gametogenesis: spermatogeneis and oogenesis
02 – Sperm evaluation, sperm preparation and intra-uterine insemination

04 – Oocyte and embryo evaluatiuon
05 – Cryopreservation of gametes and embryos
06 – IVF results and their social impact
07 – Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis
08 – Quality Managment and Assurance, Italian Legislation
