Learning Objectives
Provide the theoretical principles and practical applications to be implemented during the training phases for the young footballer and the adult footballer. All topics are aimed, therefore, at the training of a professional figure of Motor Trainer specific for youth football (age range 6/14 years up to 17 years) and Physical Trainer for adult football (age range from 19 years to on). The aim is to lay the foundations for the FIGC professional athletic trainer post-graduate qualification course in Coverciano.

FIRST SEMESTER:
Practical experimentation activities of the following theoretical aspects
General principles of training Energy metabolisms and training: what to do to program
The criteria for the correct choice of training methods How to train the aerobic and anaerobic components in soccer
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Tests for the evaluation of aerobic and lactacid qualities
The Training Load: internal load and external load and their methods of analysis
The physiological bases and methodological principles of strength training and its evaluation
Power Training in Football: basic power training, transference power training, football power training
Speed in football
SECOND SEMESTER
Training programming: from theory to practice
Warm up and injury prevention
The training of the footballer in the developmental age according to the maturation classes: chronological age, biological age and training age
Women's soccer
GPS and physical Match Analysis: match data and training data,
The tools for the functional assessment of conditional and coordinating skills Database,
data management and communication to coaching staff and players
what and how to do Elite football of 2030 will not be the same as that of 2020: Preparing players, coaches, and support staff for the evolution

Bridging Courses
It is strongly recommended to complete the basic exams scheduled for the current academic year, necessary for understanding more complex elements applied in the internship.

The goal is to be able to plan physical training in football with and without the ball, applying the most modern working methodologies. Practically apply work from assessment (physical testing) through to individualization of workloads. See modern data analysis technologies and their application implications.
