Learning Objectives

GENERAL OBJECTIVES C1/C2:

Listening comprehension
I am able to easily understand any conversation at a natural speed, whether live or recorded.
I am able to understand specialist lectures and presentations, even if they involve colloquial and regional expressions or terminology with which I am unfamiliar.

Reading comprehension
I am able to understand virtually all forms of written language, including specialist and formal texts on complex topics, rich in colloquial expressions.
I am able to thoroughly understand details and implications in a complex report or article, even outside my own field of expertise.

Speaking
I am able to deliver a clear, fluent, and well-structured speech with an effective logical structure that helps the listener notice and remember key points.
I am able to present a complex topic in a structured and confident manner to an audience unfamiliar with the subject, organizing and flexibly adapting the speech to meet the audience's needs. I am able to handle difficult questions, even when posed in a challenging manner.

Writing
I am able to produce clear, fluent, and complex texts in an appropriate and effective style, with a logical structure that helps the reader identify key points, making appropriate use of idiomatic expressions to increase the impact of the text.

Spoken interaction
I have a good command of idiomatic and colloquial expressions and am aware of their associated connotations. I can precisely convey subtle shades of meaning, using various discourse modifiers with reasonable accuracy. I can smoothly navigate difficulties by restructuring my speech in such a way that the listener barely notices. I can confidently handle challenging questions, maintain my turn in conversation, and diplomatically refute counterarguments.

Using telecommunications
I am able to use telecommunications securely and effectively for personal and professional purposes, even in the presence of interference (noise) or when the interlocutor uses a variety of language less familiar to me.

Written interaction
I am able to express myself with an appropriate tone and style in virtually all types of formal and informal written interactions.
I am able to quickly and easily adapt my register and style to different online contexts, communication goals, and speech acts.

Mediation
I am able to interpret and clearly and reliably describe various types of empirical data and visually organized information resulting from conceptually complex research on academic or professional topics.
