Learning Objectives
The course will provide students with an education that, in addition to expanding their language skills to level B2 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), will foster the appropriation and management of economic notions as well as knowledge of the professional and business world with the aim in the future of operating effectively in international contexts.
Professional and corporate world of which the tourism industry is also a part, of which certain dynamics will be studied, such as the link between tourism and the territory, the organisational and legal framework, marketing and the design of the tourist offer from an international perspective.
Program
- During the two semesters, topics relating to business economics, marketing and the tourism sector will be covered, through which students will have to decipher information and interpret documents.
Radio and television documents as well as press articles will be used, enabling students to master the specialised vocabulary of the business and tourism sector.
- Furthermore, in order to strengthen the language, collective language immersion projects will be proposed to the students, such as the production of guides for French-speaking tourists on the cultural heritage of Urbino and the products of the Marche region
- Throughout the different themes, work will be done on the methodology of the examination tests by means of written (lettre commerciale/ lettre formelle) and oral (exposé) exercises as well as on grammatical and lexical points relating to level B2

- Expression of condition and hypothesis
- Present participle, gerund and verbal adjective
- Indirect speech
- Compound relative pronouns
- Demonstrative and possessive pronouns
- The order of pronouns in the sentence
- Past participle agreement (with pronominal verbs)
- Conjunctive (present and past)
- Future anterior

Teaching, Attendance, Course Books and Assessment
- Innovative teaching methods
The face-to-face teaching method will be enriched with individual and group exercises and in-depth studies, which students will carry out using the University's Moodle platform.
Some topics of the course will be treated following the practice of the ‘classe inversée’ (flipped classroom).
The course will be taught almost entirely in French.
