Learning Objectives
This course aims to provide students with an overview of the clinical utility of the main soluble, cellular and molecular biomarkers (in use and emerging from the scientific literature) involved in the modulation of inflammatory responses.
Program
Introduction to inflammatory responses.
Inflammatory response markers in use in clinical biochemistry and laboratory medicine.
Morphological and soluble markers.
Emerging inflammatory markers.
Outlines of the main methodologies applied in the biochemical-clinical diagnosis of inflammatory responses.
